Operation Eriflap

“Operation Eriflap” is a site-specific project by mokotomoro.

The exhibition took place in a previously sealed, underground bunker system located beneath the old harbour of the Cycladic island of Milos.

This facility was built during World War II by local miners to provide shelter for the German occupant Army on this strategically important island.

When the former Wehrmacht commander Erich Flapp appears in a dream, two locals absurdly misinterpret the recently discovered military documents—setting a bizarre story in motion.
