The drawing cycle Augenzwinkern für Etwas das nicht da sein wollte is an attempt to break our habitual visual constructions in a humorous way. The motifs are not only taken from architectural epochs such as the Baroque or the Bauhaus movement, they also form - albeit two-dimensionally - architectures themselves, namely architectures of the gaze.

In these drawings, the gaze can only unfold one after the

other and open up the content. It becomes a physical experience.
